The air quality has improved significantly I just bought a used car with 150,000 miles and the previous owners either haven't changed the filter for a very long time or haven't changed it at all. It was completely black and burned, and also completely clogged with cobwebs, soot, and lots of hair. If your cabin filter wasn't as bad as described, you may not notice a difference in air quality. Great product for me. Now I can drive with the window open.
