Star of the show. My 2005 5.3L Silverado engine only needed a plug/wire change as the factory engines were only rated for 100,000 miles and mine is 164,000 miles. They went well, but I didn't know what I was getting myself into. It was mentioned in a review so I took a look. The magnet does a really good job, especially when it's 32 degrees outside like this morning. I warmed up the truck so the exhaust manifold was about 200 degrees. It took me a while to remove the spark plugs and put new ones in. There were no problems on the driver's side. There were three good connectors on the passenger side. The spooky rear end wasn't bad either. The only real issue I had was that my torque wrench is actually a 1/2" drive. I used an adapter to work with it. But it was all too big for that rear end. So I used it to manually tighten this connector. and then used a regular 3/8" deep socket with my torque wrench with no problem. I've only used it once and that was today. How it fits into other cars and trucks I can't tell. It's best, a few Having extensions on hand just in case but it's really nice.I liked that it doesn't have that rubber insert that makes things more and more difficult.Once loosened you can just unscrew it by hand and then just screw it back in by hand before using the ratchet.
