Bought this to have a seat in the kitchen while peeling vegetables and as a step stool (5ft 1in) it is needed ha ha ) . It says you'll need a drill, but I just used a regular screwdriver and made sure to really tighten it, and to be honest it was pretty easy to put together. The instructions were easy to follow and the details were clearly marked on them, of which there weren't too many. I've sat on it a few times and being a slightly heavier person it still holds up. My only complaint is that I wish it was a little bigger. But it's such a small thing, I wouldn't say it's a bad chair.
