These come in several sizes. I tried the regular sofa size for my 60" regular sofa and it just barely fit. The front of the pad hangs down the front about 4-6 inches and the arms were barely covered. We purchased the extra large and it fits better. It hangs further over the back, the arms and down the front. I am not sure what kind of sofa the Large was made for but the Extra Large provides much more coverage. Anything over 50" I would go with the extra large.We moved the Large cover to our love seat and it fits better but still does not have the arm and front coverage that the Extra Large has. I might have to look at the over sized Love seat version to cover my regular size love seat. Also, the strap in the back bunches up at the fastener. They need to make the fastening point more rigid.Except for the sizing it has been a very good product.
