It was just perfect! Our rescue dog was abused and abused before he came to us and would not let anyone touch his hind legs. It is very difficult for him to cut his nails, so he scratches. We bought these socks so he wouldn't hurt himself by scratching his long toenails. They were elastic enough to put it on easily. They were strong enough that if he itched, he wouldn't hurt himself. They were light enough not to bother him, so he carried them with ease. For our purposes they were perfect.
