Review on 7.9" Apple iPad mini Wi-Fi Cellular, RU, 512/16 GB, Wi-Fi Cellular, white/silver by Micha Kowalski Czajo ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, I recommend.

At first, I was hesitant to bring along a standard iPad since. I needed to find a new laptop to replace the one I took around the world with me. There were limitations to the netbook in terms of battery life, size, and weight. Minik was able to resolve nearly all of these problems. There were some additions; for example, flash drives and external hard drives could be plugged into a netbook at any time. Buying a few more flash drives was the simple solution I needed to this problem. Expense and income tracking, document viewing, rapid file interchange, video playback, online banking, continuing education, and amusement are just some of the problems Minik has helped me tackle. If a more robust Minik 2 is released, I will surely purchase one with 64 GB of storage. The new Mini 2 has a Retina display and other convenient features. Take on board additional RAM immediately.

Pros
  • Minik is a great alternative to netbooks because its weight is only 0.35 kg when fully charged, compared to 1.5 kg for a netbook. - Superior run time (10 hours vs. 5 hours). To put it simply: ergonomics. With text correction enabled and the mini held in a horizontal posture, typing speed is comparable to that of a standard laptop or netbook keyboard. Quicker startup than a netbook (even when equipped with an SSD). - The menu and interface are exceptionally fluid (in comparison to other Android tablets). Naturally, the App Store! SIM cards eliminate the need to locate a hotspot.
Cons
  • - 16 GB. I bought it thinking it would be sufficient, but now I realize I was wrong. It turns out that this was woefully inadequate. Media such as magazines, games, photographs, apps, and movies can quickly use storage space. Even more so if you have many devices and have the photo stream turned on. Not really a defect, more of a miscalculation on my part. - Display. The screen needs to be much more legible. Poor efficiency. Large PDF files might be difficult to read since the viewer loads pages slowly. Unfortunately, not all retailers provide Nano-SIM cards. The virtual keyboard's font size cannot be adjusted. A flashlight has no flash. - Flash is not supported outside of YouTube and a few other sites.
