Muddy and muddy sound, good electronics
Muddy and dull sound. Surprisingly, some songs sound good, but overall not even as good as the smaller Anker speaker. Just to be sure, I showed it to a few friends and they were immediately annoyed at the sound quality. There is only one speaker in this large box, on the side where the controls are located. The rest is an echo chamber that delivers decent bass. I bought it for the USB stick/SD card capability and it was pretty good. Too bad the sound quality was bad.
