Neat product. Works as needed. A few things. Delivery without instructions. For wiring or operation, if you are facing the front of the motor, connect the black terminal on the motor housing to the ground wire (either negative or black). If you then look at the black cone on top of that motor mount (solenoid), the nut is on the right side (or the 3 o'clock position) where you connect the hot or red wire. Now if you are using this for a single piston port use only one of the hydraulic points on the unit. You should use the connector on the left, this is the connector with the threaded black plastic cover. Using the right one flips your up-down controls. The black connector on the body may come loose and allow you to use a 1/4 fitting. If you use a larger bore you will need a 15mm hydraulic connector. Finally, make sure you use a large enough wire (at least #2). Depending on how far you've run, you may need to increase your run. Otherwise your engine will not run.
