Requested these to check out lithium batteries. The main features here are longevity, shelf life, stable in more extreme temperatures and lower weight.Packaging is minimalist, just a plastic battery clamshell / holder. Construction is solid but weirdly lightweight. It’s a huge positive quality but they’re almost abnormally light. They’re perfect for handheld devices.Value wise, unless you need the specific, high performance / low weight that these batteries offer, you’re probably better off getting over twice as many "copper tops” at the same cost. Yes, Lithium batteries can last 2-3x as long as alkaline but if you have a lot of devices, the cost of lithium really adds up.Had mixed experience with EBL in the past. I’ve purchased at least 16 of their rechargeable AA and AAA batteries, with a higher failure rate than I’ve seen with other brands.Not able to test them all simultaneously but will report back if there are any duds.
