This tool worked perfectly. I followed the advice of another reviewer. smear it! I took it apart and lubricated everything with heavy grease. Steel stretching is a major stress. No friction is required in the tool. Also, the bolt and spacer nut were painted from the factory, which caused them to seize. I tapped the thread with a tap and oiled it. Finally I need to convert the 2" OD to ID. I only went in about 3/8" at a time until I got the extension I needed. It's best not to try to do everything at once. I used an electric shock to turn the latch.Ideal.Recommend this tool if you only need it occasionally.
