I bought this for the HTPC to clear up the mess in the cinema a bit. The advertised range of "10 meters" is a joke - at around 12 feet it would just shut off. I finally bit the bullet and plugged the transmitter into the front USB port and now I have a bright blue light shining on me all the time and the range has increased to ALMOST 15 feet. courting. I can block the light with a tiny piece of tape, but I can't figure out the range. Otherwise it's good for what it is. I have very large hands so it gets a little tight at times, but the touchpad is responsive and I like the touch-and-click functionality, even though the left and right mouse buttons are literally right under the pad. Even better, the left mouse button on the left side of the device - that's an awesome A+ - makes the thing look like a video game controller. what gives? It's very good for what it is and does its job well. My dissatisfaction with the range is probably something most people never have to deal with.
