The first review I wrote. But I had to do it for this little unit. Bought for a '99 HD Sportster Custom. Straight bolt on the bottom bolt of the shock absorber. Took maybe 5 minutes including opening the beer. I used to buy another one that needed finishing, plus it was in two pieces, plus it felt like a fragile piece of metal, plus it cost more. This thing is an anchor. Thick caliber, solid and cheap! I don't plan on using a light mount, but will bring one in case I need a thick piece of metal for another project. If it fits your bike, just buy it...don't mess around with other options.
