Review on 📷 DOD TECH RX8W RX DOD Rearview Mirror Dash Camera with 5Hz GPS by Pavel Craig

I use this camera as a police officer at night. That works great. The GPS location and speed log are visible in the video if you view the footage for the test. The video quality is amazing. The license plates are clearly visible – with lighting, of course. During the day, the video is sharp and clear. The sound isn't great, it's a bit muffled unless you're in close proximity. You can't fully hear what's being said in the back seat or outside the window. However, I prefer video quality to sound every day. You can record up to 5 minute intervals and it will record automatically. I believe a 64GB SD card can record about 4 hours of video. The bad news is that it only takes up an SD card of up to 64GB and storing videos on the camera itself is a headache. I work a 12 hour shift but the SD card only records about 4 hours. I don't always have time to save the video right away, so I risk losing a valuable video. If there is an easier way to save the video I'm open to suggestions. Once a video is saved, it will be stored on the camera until you delete it. The time change is also a bit mysterious, but it's not that difficult. I also tried downloading the software that came with the camera but to no avail. We use Windows at work and I have a Mac. Neither of them installed/opened the software. I'm very excited to see what you can do with the recorded videos with the software. All in all this is a great product. The only downside is basically the amount of data that can be stored. If you are looking for high quality day and night videos, you have found it. Now the fuse on the power cord has blown and I am looking for a replacement. Even if the cable wasn't sold separately, I would buy this camera again.
