I encourage people who are a bit lower on the stage to buy this arrow. How many times has a guitarist, saxophonist, or someone standing in front of you bumped into your boom and slammed the mic in your mouth? Not with that. It has absolutely no edge. Someone would have to fall on you to drive it inside you. This is a new generation of this boom and it is not as heavy/durable as the original as the tubing is thinner. However, it's strong enough to hold a fairly heavy microphone. I would suggest using a 6 inch gooseneck for better articulation in mic positioning.
