Doesn't fit right. Jump out now!

The heating element barely stretches to fit a screw but it pops out of the back immediately because it's too short (less than 1/8 inch - so annoying. and I am 100% frustrated and disappointed. I urge you not to buy from this company. This is a basic 8" impulse sealer. How difficult is it to get the correct measurements?
