USB sockets are useless! Loose 110V sockets are dangerous.

NO SENSE TO BUY A MARK WITH UNUSABLE USB PORTS! It didn't even charge my Samsung smartphone, despite that phone being the only USB device connected. The problem is definitely with the extension cord, I tried several different USB cords and finally connected the 110V USB adapter and it charges the phone perfectly. . Also, both 110V and USB outlets are unplugged. Pulling the cable a little will disconnect it. It's dangerous and uncomfortable.
