This spool spool, if you want to call it that, is fine and does the job because it holds the spools. However, the main problem with this bobbin case is that it doesn't have a separate compartment for each bobbin; and thus the thread spools become tangled. Since the bobbins are still unwound in this box, my problems with tangled threads still exist. This bobbin box is really no different than the small universal box I currently have that holds bobbins because it still tangles with other bobbin threads. If I had done my research correctly I would not have bought this because there are better box spools out there than these (e.g. spool boxes that have a compartment for each spool). So if you are looking for a bobbin case, buy one with a compartment for each bobbin as it is more organized and makes your job a lot easier. and other small sewing tools; The problem, however, is the lack of a compartment, as the threads are not properly secured.
