White spots all over the screen, not good

I needed a slightly longer cable than my 1" HDMI cable, so I bought this 3" model. This cable is no good, my 4k display had white spots all over the screen right away. I reconnected the old cable and threw the new one in the trash (don't waste time returning it). upset.
