Great for Modernizing Old Boomboxes!
This is a slick little unit. I used it to convert an old boombox from 6 D-cell batteries to a rechargeable battery pack. Size is perfect, fits right into the existing battery compartment. I haven't done any deep discharge and recharge cycles yet, but it does a great job powering the unit. I also really like the 5v USB output as that will be wired to my upcoming Bluetooth conversion.
- Use it for my heated jacket. Works well.
- The charging process might take longer with some devices than with others
