Good features: - Great price compared to a zipper - Tight from what I tested (inserted several times) - Slider is firm and slides easily Bad: - Slightly thinner than the Ziploc brand, but I haven't noticed any durability issues. Bottom line: I use a lot of gallon bags from marinating meat to using for travel. I had no issues with leaks or durability issues. Just got back from Alaska and had to use an ice pack to freeze my ankle and there was no leak. He also skipped my full air bag and closed the bag to see if air came out (no air came out). I would say that these bags are a bit thinner than the Ziploc brand bags, but like I said I didn't notice any difference in thickness. Overall I would recommend these zipped bags from Revain as an alternative to the Ziploc brand.
