Just like the good old days

The first broom I ever used (about 54 years ago) was made this way. Completely made of wood with a screw-in wooden handle. It may not be as difficult as it was then, but then I am too. My main need was to brush pine needles and other debris off my concrete steps and the small size works well indoors too. It's a bit more muscle than a side sweep. I'm glad I found it among all the plastic and high-tech gimmicks.
