Review on 10Ml GSI Mr. Color Gloss Super White C156 Paint by Jeremy Levendusky

I purchased a bottle of this paint on the recommendation of a friend in the UK who is using it for airliner models. I bought it for my Navy Jet subject matter, which typically feature large amounts of gloss white.So far, i am really liking this stuff. I thin it approximately 1:1 with Mr Leveling Thinner and shoot it thru my Iwata Eclipse airbrush. For a gloss white it covers exceptionally well over the light gull gray colored plastic of the Tamiya F-14 kit. It is extremely fast drying, and responds well to my technique of spraying Mr Leveling Thinner directly onto the painted surface. It dries to a very glossy, hard finish in maybe an hour or two.compared to enamels that can take days if not weeks to fully harden.Depending on the color of the underlying plastic, you may or may not want to apply a base coat of flat white (i.e., Mr Base White or Tamiya Liquid Surface Primer). So far, i have only used it on lighter shades of polystyrene, but being able to eschew the normal step of laying down flat white first is a tremendous time saver.If you have any previous experience with gloss white paints you probably know they have a tough time covering (a pigmentation/ opacity issue), or they take a long time to dry (typically an issue with enamels). This paint eliminates both problems in one fell swoop.Enthusiastically recommended.
