We run incredibly fast through socks. Always thin toes and heels, then straight holes. These are very neat! The material is thicker in the comfortable areas, but not so thick that the shoes don't fit. Plus, with the elastic, the socks stay put - not too tight to be uncomfortable or mark, but strong enough to stay on your feet. Plus, the colors are neutral to go with everything and won't fade when washed. Excellent purchase!
