These isolating feet are great, a bit pricey, but they really work. I thought it was a trick but I was wrong. I have 2 SVS SB12-NSDs on the hardwood floor in our living room and while these subs sound incredible, they vibrated our entire living room and walls. everything attached to our walls vibrated, including paintings and lamps. After doing a little research, I found that isolation pads help reduce or eliminate these vibrations and also help improve the sound quality of subwoofers. I didn't care what they looked like, especially since they were wider and longer than my subwoofers. Upon further research I came across these isolating feet from SVS and they were a few bucks cheaper than isolating pads so I decided to try them and just return them if they really didn't help. I will definitely not be sending them back! They really work, the vibrations are almost gone and they really improve the bass quality. As a bonus, I can turn up the volume and the bass stays nice and clear. I also checked with my neighbor and he hears a lot less bass coming from our house even when I turn the volume up. With premium prices I don't think just having them on all their subwoofers will kill them :)
