12/24V Multifunction Charger Very few instructions but enough to get you started. I tested this charger on my motorcycle battery which I measured at 11.9-12 volts (not under load of course). See attached photos. The first thing he did was a 5 minute desulfurization which is step 1 of the 7 steps. See the product description for a full list of the steps this charger goes through when charging. When everything was done I disconnected the charger and measured the battery voltage which was around 12.8 volts. 12.8 volts plus or minus 0.1 volts is the peak value for AGM and GEL batteries, so the charger has fully charged them. Depending on the type of battery you are charging, the peak charge will vary. Since it's a 10 amp charger, it will definitely charge your car battery faster than one of the cheap chargers you get at your local store. These are typically 2 to 4 amp chargers. I wish this came with a motorcycle cable that you connect to the battery with a plug on the other end so you can easily charge the battery without removing the seat as was the case in my case. Just charge the battery. My other charger comes with the clips and cables mentioned so I can easily plug it into my bike to charge and when I wanted to charge my car I just plugged in the clip connectors. Many other chargers have the option to swap charging ports, but at this price point, you really can't complain. The fan on the device wasn't too loud, and I didn't notice any excessive heat from the charger itself. It charged my battery to its maximum so it will stop charging when it detects a battery peak. This is definitely a recommended product as it does what it says on the tin. As for extending battery life through desulphation, I can neither confirm nor deny this at this time. The battery needs to be replaced so I'll see how long it lasts with this charger. Definitely recommend this charger. Thank you for taking the time to read my review.
