This is my first replacement blade I've bought since I received the Nutribullet about 8 months ago. The old blade got REALLY noisy over time and I ended up hearing the speed change mid-blend as if struggling with simple blending tasks like powder shakes. The noise level of the old blade increased so slowly over time that it took a while to get used to it, like a frog in a boiling pot. When I first used the new blade I couldn't believe how quiet it was in comparison. It almost feels like it's better than the original when new, but maybe my mind is playing tricks on me after getting used to the old blade at the end of its life. I really hope they make improvements, especially around durability (which is wishful thinking) as using $20 blades every 6-8 months really makes Nutribullet an overtime investment. But again, you have to consider the comfort factor. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 for durability and value.
