Review on 🚴 Men's Santic Padded Cycling Shorts for Enhanced Bike Riding Performance - Bicycle Pants, Biking Attire, and Cycle Wear Tights by Zachary Greene

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good short for the money

(update) - it's been like this for about 3 years. Not sure if they changed the size as the size chart now looks different than when I originally ordered it. So the average size might actually fit the average figure right now, and now that I'm considering ordering another pair, I'm unsure of the size again. In any case, with the update I would like to say that the shorts have held up pretty darn well. In fact they are about the same as the first day I used them. These are my indoor training shorts that don't get used to as often as my outdoor gear, but they have been durable. I would for sure buy again. It remains to decide the size. again. The original rating is below. I was going to say I'm not going to upgrade to 5 stars just because they still seem a bit cheap, but then I realized. They're cheap, so there's really no reason not to. So now 5 stars. Hooray. So I ordered XL for my first order. I'm basically a 33 inch emptiness with pretty big hips. The hips were my concern as they even measured the max size for XL. The problem, however, is that while the leg elastics were fairly tight, the waist elastic was snug enough, but not as tight. So while sticking with the XL pair, I ordered an LG pair for comparison and figured if they put it on don't fit, I'll just send them back and probably won't order another pair. The LG sits tighter on the thigh, but not so much that I have any circulatory issues at all and have no discomfort. XL.Chamois: So suede is ok so far, when you walk around in them they are a bit like a diaper as they are quite stiff and stick out a bit from your buttocks so it's definitely not that flattering. Everything is fine on the bike. It's not as good as the really high-performing spandex suede, but it seems to be a little better than the cheap suede found in the big manufacturers' low-end models. Not sure how the suede will hold up over time so I'm a little reluctant to order another pair. However, the price is really great and hard to beat. I work in a bike shop and a good spandex still costs me about twice as much. Of course, these are premium models, so I understand that this isn't a direct comparison. I'm just giving context. If the suede lasts a year I'll be impressed and of course ready to order more. In terms of quality I find these shorts 4 stars, but in terms of value for money I would say 5 stars. I'll give it a 4 for now, and if the suede lasts a while I'll move on to a 5.
