Excellent needles! They are very strong and tough. However, I would not recommend anyone to buy them to crochet. I bought these to complete my crochet work assuming the wide eye description means they would be quite large, but I find that they are not large enough for light to medium weight and larger yarns. I guess I should have looked at the measurements given and that was my mistake. But knitters and crocheters need to be aware that any yarn thicker than sportweight or maybe DK will be too thick to thread, even with the included needle threader (it's so pretty and durable! My favorite part of this set). ). They are great for finishing and piecing together light weight yarns like amigurumi, but aren't big enough for heavier projects.
