The key part of the lock was removed when I bought this car many years ago, but eventually a small special spring failed, preventing me from opening the tailgate. Opening the gate was a real challenge, but in the end it was done. With this new part I really have a lock and key for the hatch for the first time. It took a second delivery because the packaging was damaged on the first order so it came without a key. The keys clearly slipped out of the plastic bubble. A call to the service line brought a good replacement.
