I mountain bike in northern Utah (dry and dusty, rocky trails - some in pine forest/intermittent shade). I was really hoping for this but the gold lenses don't work well for my conditions - they actually make it difficult to see drops, rocks etc so they made some spectacular rides. However, there are no complaints about road bike travel. Otherwise they are great. The lens switches are very simple, and I really like the faintly light pink lenses that come with it (and they work well anytime for mountain biking). There is no reliable information on which lenses are best for mountain biking and I mistakenly thought that gold lenses would work like amber lenses. If I find a better lens to use I will change my rating but was surprised that they actually reduce vision.
