Bought about a month ago, never used a french press before. It worked great, the instructions were easy. The coffee tastes amazing in a french press and I love coffee. I made coffee today and it fell apart. The piston part is separate from the rest and I'm not much of a mechanic. You can see the pictures, it ruined my coffee and I had to go to work without coffee because I was late. This can probably be fixed somehow, but I'm a bit disappointed because it's a month old and I hand wash it. I think it's time to return. I'll probably buy a French press from a local shop. Shame because I really enjoyed it. It's the perfect amount for one or two people, and it has a 16-ounce gauge, which I really like. It's also easy to clean and I haven't spotted any dirt or mold anywhere, which is a plus. I tried calling the company to see if there was a quick fix but there is no phone number. I TRIED TO FIX IT BUT IT STILL GOES INTO MY COFFEE AND WILL LOSE MY LOVE ORGANIC COFFEE. I BOUGHT ONE LOCALLY FOR A LITTLE MORE AND IT IS NOT BROKEN. I'm disappointed that Amazon hasn't supported this for more than a month. THERE IS NO RETURN KEY AND I FEEL CHEATING. ALSO THERE IS NO COMPANY CONTACT. DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY IF YOU LOVE YOUR COFFEE.
