Everything is fine, there are only minor drawbacks.
I'm satisfied with the sandwich overall. I believe that adding a power button and a longer cord would not be detrimental. It is noted in the instructions that some smoke appeared after the initial heating. Subsequent additions showed no smoke. Great roasts. I use it, let it cool, and then simply clean it with napkins. good for toasting bread or creating hot sandwiches.
