The ultimate entry-level protective gear. Had already saved my ass when a razor sharp back caught me by surprise and I landed head first in the sand after falling about 12ft then the bike landed on top of me and my knee pads were hit by the fender protecting both. my knee and chest (he would have hit that if I hadn't had the lightning reflexes to get my knees to my chest in time!).
