I have been using this 10 port charging station daily for the past five months. I left 5 short light cords and 5 short micro cords in. 6-10 devices are charged every day. I love it. I had no problems. People who say ports are going bad, I would advise you to replace your cables with new ones. I have charged iPhones, Kindles and batteries. Works exactly as I had hoped. I had lower expectations for this product based on the unflattering reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. :)
