My backyard bird love love love! Unfortunately, squirrels do that! The real problem I have is that there is enough powdered peanut slime that quickly clogs the feeder's drain holes, even if it gets a little wet. I started sifting it first to reduce sediment before putting it in the feeder. I also find it overpriced. In this case, a pound of roasted peanuts costs less than $2. This 5 pound bag costs $16. Hm? Addendum: I just discovered the Lyric brand peanut chunks. A 5 pound pack costs less than $10.
