I'm pleasantly surprised at how this softener went. I love making crispy pork belly and nothing works like this tenderizer with a very sharp, piercing steel. I've read reviews that say otherwise so I made a video to show my point. My pork belly is tender and juicy. I didn't have to boil it before frying, this tool saves time. I have one of those square ones with retractable piercing steel that doesn't work with pork belly, what a disappointment! A NOTICE.
