This will now be my grill thermometer because I can leave the temperature sensor in the meat when roasting. The digital display is big and bright. The alarm feature is the best option for me as I have a 2-in-1 gas/charcoal grill and I can grill on one side and not have to check on the meat as often as I do on the charcoal side. Having a probe on the side of the charcoal while cooking also gives you a quick reading of the temperature in case you need to add charcoal. The probe on the unit is great for applications where you just need to check the temperature when you have a constant heat.
