Seems to hold up well. We also bought a fabric marker so the tags will survive repeated machine washing of clothes in different modes and repeated hand washing of dishes. If you hand wash labeled containers thoroughly, a label will last for several months. I do not recommend washing it in the dishwasher due to the high temperatures.
