This is normal and I used it for my company mailing lists.

If you want to send them, you have to pay attention to the corners when you put them together. The edges don't match perfectly, so there are small holes at the corners. It's fine and I've used it for my company's mailings with no problem, but it's annoying and if the rain bothers me even a little I'd tape them up or buy other boxes.

Pros

MATERIAL AND STRENGTH: Standard strength industrial corrugated boxes are manufactured from 200#/ECT-32 single wall kraft paper. Estimated weight capacity is 65 lbs. (This is just a guide, the weight should be evenly distributed).
