I bought a 2-pack Ginsco hard case (black and blue) for two of my hard drives that I use for remote work. backup solution. Disk image backups are stored on a single disk, which is then shipped with a sticker with my name (erm) neatly scrawled on it. The second disk lives in place and collects the latest disk images. At the end of the week, these plates will be swapped (at least for the time being). Presto, third-party backups. By buying two identical drives, I could easily swap them out if networking and backup software sees them as virtually identical. Two different colors, black and blue, were chosen to help me, the human, keep them straight. To further soften my tendency to get confused, I took these two cases in the same color. As advertised, this is a hard-shell case made from canvas fabric that covers the lightly padded interior of the bag. The zippers slide smoothly and have two pull tabs that allow you to pull/open in any direction. An elastic band helps secure the drive inside, which also has a mesh "pocket" for storing the drive's data cable. When unpacking, the disc does not fall out, at least for me. Please note that I use a slightly smaller drive case and it works great thanks to this elastic band.
