As I have several durable versions of this belt I decided to try this model. as a two-layer design. It's significantly lighter than advertised. The lack of a Velcro closure system like the HD model is a flaw that needs to be addressed. here and I have a very good light belt. The nylon has been cut and you have a belt that fits your specs perfectly. Use about 4-5 inches from the hook side of the velcro at the end of the strap and 8 inches from the soft side of the velcro where the end folds and touches the strap. Leave about 2 inches of the soft side in case you gain or lose weight. Then everything stays in place.
