I bought this for a trip to Scotland but the Sixt hire company gave me an Audi A4 ;-) with full navigation on the dashboard so I couldn't use it. However, I used it two weeks before this trip in the States to prove to myself that it works and is very reliable. way for use in rental vehicles. Some suction cups are known to damage rental car dashboards, it's a clip and won't do it. For me a slight increase in visibility compared to keeping the phone where I wanted would be the right compromise on extremely narrow Scottish roads (unless I get a car upgrade).
