Bigger than I thought it would be - I'm between sizes and had ordered up. Thinking that might have been a mistake - it wasn't as "suck it in" as I would have liked. It's a good thickness - obviously meant for shaping the waist area.The crotch closure is three sets of hooks (see pic), I kept snagging it on the inside of the bodysuit - did some impressive gymnastics moves to get it put together. I would probably like this better if it was tighter - the fabric is sturdy - but still seemed almost lumpy - I can see my bra underneath. Not a dealbreaker for me - but shown in picture for reference in case that matters to someone in review-land.
