1) Public charging stations cannot be infected with "juice jacking" as these cables only have charging contacts and no data contacts. This includes all connectors, USB Micro and USB Type C. 2) You reduce wear and tear on the tiny connector as you connect it with large external magnets - just hold the glowing magnet to the phone jack - no need to look at the tiny Micro USB -Connector to align the jack on the phone. Cons - I have a thick soft case on my phone. Difficult to remove the magnetic adapter when I have to use a standard cable.
