The peeler is very sharp and works way better than my old cheap peeler. However, it has small ridges, almost like micro-serrated ones. So if getting a super smooth looking peeled vegetable is important to you, then this peeler is not ideal for you. But he's crazy about peeling pumpkins! But overall I would still buy this pack again just for the julienne peeling and cutting tool.
