Perfect size and superb dexterity. My only issue with them is that the very first time we tried them on my daughter, we pulled on the ratchet on our wrist to fasten them. We didn't pull hard and it didn't take anything at all to rip the stitching and fully rip the strap on one side. Unfortunately I don't have time to return them before she goes so I will be hand stitching the seam but I expected them to hold up to normal wear and tear and even if they don't even get used they aren't worth it .
