After I bought a larger water bottle to keep track of her water intake, my daughter asked me to buy one for her too. Since she is only 10 years old I decided to give her this one. She loves the color and that it tells her how much water to drink every hour. She asks me for the time and checks if my water intake is correct. I like that we have almost the same bottles and can be responsible for each other. As for the bottle itself, the cap feels solid and has a useful locking feature. It is convenient to unlatch the lid and press to open the lid with a smooth motion, even for daughter's little hands. For small fruits (e.g. blueberries) the brewing unit is placed too wide, but there are no problems with strawberries, watermelons, lemons, cucumbers. This is a nice feature as my daughter has wanted a brewery bottle ever since she saw one of her teachers with one at school. Being a plastic bottle, it won't keep drinks cold for 12 hours, but the point is to actually drink the water, not leave it cold. We found that by filling it with ice and then water, it didn't heat up until the time was up. All in all a great purchase. I would recommend.
