I forgot to read the description of the package which says "Shows what's inside. Item is often shipped in manufacturer's container to reduce packaging." so I didn't check the option of getting it packaged by amazon, so amazon just put a label on the clear plastic bag the outfit came in and shipped it to me that way. Good thing it didn't rain on the day of delivery. Anyway, I bought it as a gift for 5 years and the quality is good. This is the same quality you will find at your local department store. Although I think it would be nice to find an option if the kid doesn't have a small build. I bought a size 6-7 because I was concerned that a 5-6 would be too small and I'm glad I made that decision. 6-7 looks just right for the 5 year old I'm giving it to.
