I had a leachate filter but I saw this one and decided to give it a try as it was reasonably priced. Installed as OEM. I was surprised that in the first 3 days you didn't have the same problem with bubbles as with the filtrate filter (small micro-bubbles in the water). The taste of the water is pleasant but not exceptional. I tried my TDS meter to see how much particulate matter it filtered out. My unfiltered tap water read 430ppm and with the filter it was exactly the same! Not sure what it filters out in this case. (I suspect the ingress particles must be too fine for this filter to catch.) Added 9/5/2021 After a few short months of using this filter I started getting white particles in the water. I'm not sure what it is or why the filter caused this. I changed the filter and flushed about 10 gallons and there were no more particles. I do not recommend this filter and it is a waste of money. Save time and get one from a reputable company
