Suitable for mycology

They work great. I use them to make filter caps for mycological liquid cultures. I don't actually use them for liquid filtration, just as a hydrophobic air filter for liquid solutions. So far there are no problems.

Pros

NO LEAK. We use a high quality virgin polypropylene body and weld it to a high quality membrane so you can be assured your PTFE syringe filter will never leak sample solvent.

Cons

Very expensive
